The tenth Anniversary pan-European Science Conference on QbD and PAT Sciences brings together pharmaceutical scientists and engineers from industry, academia and regulatory agencies to discuss recent developments and future trends in the field of pharmaceutical product and process development, and innovative manufacturing. The anniversary 10th EuPAT conference will focus on the latest advances in continuous manufacture and emerging developments in the manufacture and analysis of complex bio medicines. The 3 day virtual conference will have a special theme for each day where each session has a content that describe technological developments and novel applications. For all themes, attention will be paid to advances in real-time PAT sensing, modelling, simulation and intelligent control together with their real-life implementations. The 10th anniversary EuPAT conference will also pay special attention to more futuristic emerging product and manufacturing opportunities. The conference builds on the success of the EuPAT series established in 2006 and is organised by EUFEPS and its QbD and PAT Sciences Network in partnership with APV and colleagues from; Nordic POP (Nordic University consortium for patient-oriented products), Chalmers University of Technology, and AstraZeneca.

Participants are encouraged to Submit Abstracts for poster presentations, whilst selected scientists from submitted abstracts will be invited to give oral presentations alongside the keynote speakers!
EuPAT 10 at a glance
The EuPAT10 Conference is a virtual Conference built on four cornerstone activities; virtual Lectures – virtual Posters – virtual Tours – virtual Mingling. The Three-Day Conference (see figure for overview) will be held on October 4th, 5th, and 6th, 2021. Each day will focus on a Theme session; Day 1, “Continuous Manufacturing & Real-Time Quality Sensing” , Day 2, “Design & Manufacturing of Complex Bio Products & Vaccines”, and Day 3, “Futuristic Product Manufacturing & Additive Manufacturing”. Notably, the 3rd Day comprises the EuPAT “10th Anniversary session”, which will address innovative and futuristic manufacturing opportunities and challenges. Please note that Virtual Tours are integrated in the Science sessions on both conference Day 1 and Day 3. Here, the Day 1, Science presentations on “Continuous Manufacturing & Real-Time Quality Sensing”, will comprise Industrial and Vendor Case Examples. The latter, provides an opportunity for a Virtual Tour at a Continuous Manufacturing site. The Science presentations on Day 3 on emerging technologies, will also place a special focus on Additive Manufacturing (AM) opportunities. For example, attention will be paid to printing Dosage Forms, Medical Devices & Implants, and provide an opportunity for a Virtual AM Labs Tour. The AM Tour is organized in collaboration with the Nordic University consortium for patient-oriented products (Nordic POP) and the Chalmers University of Technology. Finally, participants at EuPAT10 are encouraged to Submit Abstracts for poster presentations, whilst selected scientists from submitted abstracts will be invited to give oral presentations alongside the keynote speakers!
